Hosted by the Grand Rapids LGBTQ+ Healthcare Consortium, this gala style event in honor of National Coming Out Day will feature a community talent and fashion show, with appearances from Beauty Beyond Drag.

Jointly hosted by Chosen Family of Michigan and the Grand Rapids LGBTQ+ Healthcare Consortium, this parade follows a one block route on Sheldon Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids (Rainbow Road). Staging begins at 2:00pm on Library Street and we ask all entries to be in place by 2:30pm. We will send more instructions, including a map for parking, at a later date. Walking entries are $20, while entries with a vehicle are $30. Please reach out for information regarding float requirements, and requirements for amplified sound. We encourage you to hand out candy, fliers, coupons, or other merchandise -- but you must hand it to the attendees (no throwing!). We encourage you to invite your friends to attend and cheer you on (Attendance is free and there is no registration).

Hosted by Chosen Family of Michigan, this event is organized by our volunteer-led Policy Squad, as part of the Rev:Sev Project, which seeks to expand and support inclusive places of worship for the LGBTQ+ people of faith. This free event will feature LGBTQ+ History trivia and musical worship and prayer.  Faith leaders and therapists will also be available. Whether you're an LGBTQ+ person of faith, an ally, someone exploring their faith, or someone looking to re-enter an inclusive community after experiencing religious trauma, this event is for you! Doors open at 6:30pm.
